The Pontiac announces the return of the Rainbow Road, the rock-and-roll cocktail dive’s annual tour celebrating queer joy, equality, and culture. To mark the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, global Pride Month takes center stage at The Pontiac! Celebrated for 7 years on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, the venue is expanding its footprint beyond Hong Kong this year. Celebrating the start of international Pride Month and the Rainbow Road tour, queer joy will be taking over the Mandarin Oriental Macau’s Vida Rida poolside for the most colourful pool party to date! With regional bartenders from Bare Bar and Mirror Tea House China, TUFF Bar Bangkok pairing up with Hong Kong’s allied bars and bartenders from Terracotta, Call Me Al, Artifact, Mostly Harmless and The Pontiac; there is no shortage of award-winning drinks! Drag performances from Poise’n Grace will take place throughout the event along with DJ’s and good vibes all day long.

Rainbow Run (Hong Kong) June 19 | 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM -

The Pontiac partners with five allied venues around Central for an unapologetic neighborhood shot run. Moving from Aberdeen Street down to Old Bailey Street, the sprint challenges participants to complete a route of 6 Moonshine mini cocktails at every stop. Participating venues include Dead Poets, AER, Friday After Class, Honky Tonks Tavern, Not2Sweet, and The Pontiac. The finish line features the iconic Midnight Special after-party from 10pm, where a bartender from each location jumps on the bar in signature Pontiac fashion.

An early-evening, no-nonsense cocktail workshop led by the bar's head bartenders. The Dive Bar Edition masterclass provides hands-on mixology training, teaching guests how to craft two distinct signature margaritas from start to finish.
