Dead Poets to Host Hong Kong’s First Spiked Boba Tea Menu and Rave: Boozy Pearls and Hip Hop Beats Take Over Central Barbershop

HONG KONG, Feb 10th - Following the success of the Dead Painters Liquid Gallery V.4 menu, Dead Poets, the city's favorite sauce barbershop and cocktail bar hybrid, is launching a summer series of tea-led, 0% ABV CROSSIP bubble teas. Starting February 16th, guests can enjoy premium non-alcoholic boba tea cocktails or choose to "spike" their drinks with Rum, Whisky, Gin, Vodka, or Tequila.
To kick off the new series, Dead Poets will transform its gritty, barbershop space into a high-energy Boba Tea Rave on Saturday, February 28th, from 4 PM to 7 PM with DJ BB Lamb with tickets for $150HKD inclusive of one 0% abv or spiked boba tea.
The Spiked Boba Series:
The new menu is designed to bridge the gap between sophisticated mixology and street-style Hong Kong tea culture. The series will be available for three months at $50 HKD per tea.
Menu Highlights:
Dandy Hong Kong Smoked Milk Tea: A mix of smoked black tea, evaporated and whole milk, hibiscus, and tapioca pearls.
Fresh Citrus Jasmine Highball Tea: Made with jasmine green tea, bright citrus, honey, and a choice of tapioca or mango pearls.
Pure Grapefruit Hibiscus Tea: A refreshing blend of hibiscus and grapefruit black tea with a choice of milk or oat milk and tapioca pearls.
Ice Lemon Citrus Boba: Inspired by traditional HK-style lemon tea or jasmine tea, featuring fresh lemon, citrus, and mango pearls.
The Event:Spiked Boba Tea Rave with DJ BB Lamb
On February 28th, Dead Poets is swapping scissors for straws for the city's first Spiked Boba Rave. DJ BB Lamb will be on the decks spinning an open-format set of Hip Hop, R&B, and top charts. The event offers an unpolished, fun atmosphere in the heart of the "Arts Row" district to kick off Art Month in March.
